AU Instapay Credit Card is a lifetime free credit card, which is enabled for UPI payments since it is on the RuPay platform. It is a vurtual credit card.

AU InstaPay Credit Card is currently available only to existing AU Small Finance Bank credit cardholders.

Lifetime free card

No annual fee is charged on the card, the card is lifetime free.

Virtual only UPI card

This is a virtual card, meaning you will not receive a physical card from the bank.

You can use the card for all UPI transactions, by linking the card to UPI apps, please see steps below-

  1. Download the UPI Third Party Application (eg. BHIM, PayTm and Mobikwik) from the Play Store/App Store.
  2. Verify the Mobile Number on the UPI Application and complete registration- on application (they must have the same mobile number linked with their RuPay Credit Card and UPI application).
  3. Post successful registration, select the option “Add Credit Card/ Link Credit Card”.
  4. Select Credit Card Issuer Bank (AU Small Finance Bank).
  5. Select your AU Small Finance Bank Credit Card to be linked.
  6. Confirm the details displayed on the screen.
  7. Proceed to generate UPI PIN (if not already done).

AU Instapay Credit Card is enabled for UPI payments since it is on the RuPay platform. As per RBI guidelines a user can only link a credit card set up on RuPay network to a UPI application. No other network’s credit card, for example VISA/Mastercard can be linked to a UPI application.

1% cashback (upto ₹100 per month) on the following UPI spends – departmental stores || grocery || supermarkets || dining || pharmacy stores 

You earn ₹1 (as cashback), on every ₹100 you spend with your card in these categories.

This benefit is valid only on total purchases upto ₹10,000 per month across these categories, since the maximum cashback is restricted to ₹100 per month. Please also note that no cashback is given on transactions less than ₹200.

Fuel surcharge waiver, upto ₹100 per month

You get a 1% fuel surcharge waiver on all fuel transactions between ₹400 and ₹5000 only, and only on fuel purchases upto ₹10,000 per month (since the maximum waiver amount is restricted to ₹100 per month).

Application Process

Required documents– PAN card copy
– Identity proof : PAN card , driving license, valid passport, voter ID (any one)
– Address proof : electricity bill, phone bill, driving licence, passport, ration card, bank statement, passbook, voters ID, flat maintenance bill, rent agreement (any one)
– Income proof : latest salary slip/s, income tax return etc

Additional documents maybe required on a case-to-case basis.
